The Nike Dunk Low has amassed a large following over the last five years. Ahead of the silhouette’s 40th anniversary, Peter Moore’s iconic design has undergone various updates to capture more audiences.
Recently, the Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2, a women’s-exclusive, fashion-forward option, emerged in a summer-friendly mix of orange and teal tones, courtesy of the Serena Williams Design Crew. While the color scheme isn’t unfamiliar to Moore’s old school design, its finish on the latest women’s sneaker is. A wavy pattern is etched into overlays around the forefoot and across the heel, injecting another layer of personality into the modern offering. Plastic components appear at the quarter panel and around the heel, with the latter unit also donning an abstract pattern. Underfoot, the Air Jordan 1-reminiscent tooling keeps things simple in a white and semi-translucent blue arrangement.
Enjoy early looks at the pair ahead, and anticipate a nike.com launch on August 31st.
In related sneaker news, the J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 is set to release in September.
