Due entirely to the influx of colorways these past few years, Nike is coming close to exhausting the Dunk High and Low. But with new, spin-off models like the Dunk High Up, the brand is attempting to add a fresh spin on the beloved silhouette.
The bright colors they’re making use of here only add to the variety, fitting as a celebration to the upcoming Setsubun festival. An orange shade, one deeper than the “Syracuse,” is put forth in a hairy suede, covering paint and panels dressed in either a gold or bright green. By way of the eye stays, a muted red pastel takes the stage, laced up with purple strings close in likeness to the Swoosh along the side. And while it may seem overly busy in spec, the white base and midsole do their best to balance the palette.
Enjoy a close-up look at these and their all-over graphic insole via the official images below. Sizes should be hitting Nike.com and select retailers soon.
In other news, the Nike SB Dunk Low Bart Simpson beats any adidas collab.
